It had been five months since i update. I had completed my 1st month in the army and it was really not easy. It had defintitely streagthen my mind as well as my fitness. Overall, i had make many good friends there especially my buddy. The next phrase of training would be test for me as many days without bathing will be a torture to me especially with my skin allegy problem as well as my weakness to abrasion. I am confident that i will overcome it and till then goodbye.

Result was out on friday, ok lahx 3A 2B+ not so bad. But i confirm cannot go in nus mechanical engineering with my 3.64. Sian man. I hope the coming days, acceptance letter will come soon. Meanwhile, have been looking for jobs for the past week and have a unpleasant experience which i will not say. I was offered a few jobs too but rejected it. I shall take my time man since i got so much time in the world to be da shao ye. haha

Tml is the 1st day of exam..Gas turbine engine, i am quite prepare, hopefully will be a easy paper. Thursday is Aerodynamics and Friday is airlaw. Woosh, i hope everything can faster finish and then enjoy. Today i even went for jogging, too prepare liao nothing better to do.

3 years juz phew..last lesson was air law. can't believe time pass so fast. Final lesson, no emotion, nothing, it was juz routine. The strong ties we had forged during LTT will never be forget. The endless complaining, filing, readings blah blah blah can put it simply as tiring but yet satisfying. Finally, we have come to the finishing line, everyone will move on. Some serve their NS while some will go to the university and work. Meanwhile, i will give ultimate best and try to ge perfect score this time round. Till then, an early chinese new year, Cheers!!

wah, when to the VA for commando, waste the whole day there where i could have gone to my airshow. The commando thing dunno will get it but have tried my best to avoid liao, now it is down to fate. Ok, next thing, have finish my final quiz and interview in tp, left with exam and say bye bye to poly and ready to go hell. That is what the ppl in commando say when i left there.

I have saw the latest cut off for uni, as expected it has gone higher than the 08 cut off especially for economics. The reason for it i guess is due to demand and supply thing and also due to the recession. Gpa in ntu business and accounts drop because of the instabilty of the future after major banks go bust. Rather, many students chose economics as it gives many more options to their future. I have done my application now and it all left to fate.

Meanwhile, i am preparing for my exams before resting during CNY and chiong during study week.

New Yr Resolution

Received back my LTT result. As expected M7 Mcq failed but satified that i have put my best effort so i don't feel any heartache. M2 physics from CAAS should be able to pass unless the machine cork up again . Term test result not good for Human Factor and Aerodynamic. Due to careless in MCQ has really kill me but a lot really depend on the projects to score so still ok with the result. The most satified one is GTE ,95/100, really own this paper after so much efforts and research on this module.

Since 2009 is coming to an end, i shall make my 2010 resolution.
2010 wistlists
1.) Get into NUS FASS
2.)Find a banking job after grad
3.) Healthy as well as the bros

My wish not greedy at all, so these target is achievable.

Just like what my title wrote, New term new hopes. This is my final semester in TP, and i gonna put full throttle to realise my distinction dream. Instead of aiming 100 marks, i gonna put 110% of efforts to score full distinction in all my modules and graduate with a smile :) Gas Turbine engine, Aerodynamic, Human Factor & Air Law.. I gonna luv u all to the max!!!!!!!

6 month is really fast

The past six months have pass just like that. These will be my most memorable stint in poly. Like what Ah peck had said, the skills that we had learnt will not be able to buy with money. Not only mechanical skills, but also life skills like time management and self discipline. Of course, i had made many good friends during the 6 months, ppl like KENNNERD, Jeremy and many more.

During the collective mugging for our 2500 pages of notes, without ppl like JJ, i doubt we would have score in MP SIP. So in a nutshell, I really have become more mature after this training, no more the hump Ji chan Leng any more, no more doing things not serious, and no more carelessness from Officer CL Low.

FOTA vs FIA

The inevitable happen. There will be a breakaway series next year. So what is next in Formula one next year? The mood among the teams is quite sombre, but there is no doubt that they are serious about the decision they have taken.
That doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t prefer to find a solution and race in F1. After all the greats of the sport have won the Formula 1 world championship, any other series would have no history and no reference points. But whether F1 can move forward will all the same protagonists in place is debatable.
The FIA has put a hold on things while it asserts its legal rights.
This should lead to a cooling-off period, although next Wednesday’s FIA World Council meeting could be a flashpoint if the teams try to unseat Mosley, as is being suggested in some quarters.
In briefings this evening Mosley has indicated that he will not walk away until the job is complete and that he feels the FOTA breakaway has no chance of success.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a calmer day where we can all focus on the racing, which is shaping up to be pretty good.

This week had been a hack of my time. Other tp students are still enjoying life while for us..attend LTT and preparing CAAS paper like mad. Anyway, Ltt is damn professional xia,totally follow german style. i'm in AE1 which mean this week all is watching Aircrash investigation, understand maintenance practice= THEORY. The rest of them are doing filing like ****. CAAS paper was a breeze. Out of 3 paper i think gt 2 can make it..75% den pass ho..dun play play. Tml last paper den done and dusted.

I went to recruit express to sign my contract for 1 wk of work at TNT. Jobs are really hard to find these days as i cast doubt over this assignment intially. The current financial situation does not make things any easier. Anyway, these few days i had been thinking really hard on my option of further studies. I have thought about automotive engineering as another option but the opportunity after graduation is unknown to me. If i am to work as a mechanics in any race team i would be over the joy...lol. Meanwhile my holiday is coming to an end so till then enjoy myself.

With 5A and a B i'm quite satisfied and this brings me to a total no. of 10A and my target is to get 20 at the end of poly. Anyhow, next sem is the real challenge (Aerospace Engineering) ooo my god but i am fully motivated to prove my detractor wrong. Another challenge for myself is to get my distinction hahaha.
